I was born a Seed in the soil So miniscule
Water just ignored me And trickled past
I was thirsty
And you nurtured me
I grew slightly for I was a stunted child
And peeked above to a garish Sky
Chicken mistook me for a feeble worm
And butchered me with her beak
I was dying
And you healed me
When I was tall enough To look the Sun in the eye
I thought I was invincible, strong and high
And they came With whirring yellow hands
To kill me With their Greed
I was falling
And you raised me up again
My Mother,
My Earth
